Stewardship Opportunities
We are deeply committed to providing equitable access for community gatherings, cultural ceremonies, educational programs, and opportunities that foster sustainable livelihoods.

Through partnerships with local groups—like Troop 49 and other community organizations—we create pathways for residents and visitors alike to engage in meaningful stewardship of Kaupō’s lands and resources.
Our stewardship initiatives are rooted in Hawaiian land management traditions that honor the balance between people and ʻāina (land). Participants learn through hands-on experiences that blend community-led conservation, restoration practices, and intergenerational knowledge transfer—ensuring that ancestral wisdom continues to guide modern sustainability efforts.
From native habitat restoration and traditional agricultural practices to youth service projects and guided cultural workdays, these activities strengthen both the landscape and the community that depends on it. Together, we work to protect and revitalize Kaupō’s ecologically and culturally vital places, cultivating a living legacy of care, respect, and resilience.
